A set of lovely TRs, Sir!
Vivd, as any JB trip report is, in terms of pictures, and descriptions.
The North-East part of India has always been enchanting: I have never been abel to venture anywhere East of Guwahati, or Southwards, unfortunately.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf: I have also patronised this joint, and the one in the domestic part of NSCBIA itself, as well.
The Haj operations at NSCBIA used to operate from the erstwhile T1-A International part, if I remember correctly. There is a chance that the T1-A Domestic part may get integrated into the current T2 domestic part.
I have been to GAU in 2003 and then in 2017...and I can now relate with some of the sights you have shown, in your pictures.
And yes, lovely wing and winglet shots again!
The Kaziranga shots were outstanding...the expressions of the doggie, the stork and water bird reflections, the reflected rhino, and the tea cup from the spout's point of view. Superb.
The 9W AT7s look to be around for a while, now.
The GAU construction and the lines...
The Sunderbans part was sheer eye candy: the net being cast, the water and people around it, and the fauna which only you can click so well...I wish I could do such exotic destinations, and of course, write and click as well as you!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Thanks for checking out this one, sir! Hope you are able to visit these beautiful places some time - they are a different story altogether. Good to know we share similar experiences while at CCU, too!

I imagine with this part growing rapidly, I wouldn't be surprised if the entire old terminal is completely used for Hajj operations.

Thank you so much, sir!
