We spent the 11th and 12th of August in San Francisco, after checking in at the Ramada in San Francisco. And we had a great view of the heavy flights taking off! Let the pictures do the talking: We just took the cable car and Lombard street... Notice the flag!!!!! Took a Uber and requested the nice Saudi Arabian college student driver to drive down Lombard street! Spent the evening spotting from the room! Domestic flight from SFO to ORD: equivalent to a BOM-HYD!! Target for the day was this bird!!!! The next morning... B757-300 And the shorter B757-200 And another flying pencil! Hawaiian A330! United Airlines retro Continental colors! And the highlight for the day! Jet Airways B77W with Etihad tattoos! United B747s to Beijing and Hong Kong That's all for this part! While I have never been to SanFran, I have seen some pictures and heard about it from The Wife's parents, and The Wife and Junior, who have all visited the place. It was nice looking at the same places and icons, again...the streetcar, the winding road zig-zagging downwards...did I miss the Golden Gate Bridge? What was the building which had the US and Indian flags? Lovely spotting sessions: the flying pencil (and that too, with winglets), the WhaleJets, and the Jet B77W with the `tatoos', to borrow your words! Cheers, Sumantra. To be honest, I couldn't figure out what the building was even then...surely wasn't the Taj Hotel though...
