Day 5: We were set to cruise through Glacier Bay National Park. Pretty epic sights and sounds - they weren't kidding when said a collapsing chunk of ice sounds like firing a cannonball!

Day 6: we'd have a very short hop at Ketchikan, Alaska. This would be our last stop in Alaska. Ketchikan is also known as the salmon capital of the world. We did a duck tour, first. This was followed by a tour to the rainforest and preservation center. One thing I really liked was the bus drivers always kept us passengers entertained with stories and information - most of them put forward in a witty manner!

NOT our ship! Razz

That night was also crew appreciation night (following a Rock History concert) at the stardust theater. All crew members were there, and it was quite a fest for them!

Captain Gunnar Hammerin

Some lovely Ty Ku drink. By far the best alcohol I have tasted!

Day 7 - the second last day of the cruise, and the last stop before docking. This stop would be at Victoria, BC, Canada

Pearl overtaking, again!

Butchart Gardens, Victoria BC

Day 8 - Departed Victoria BC bang on time - 0000 hours. It was going to be a short night's rest. I was up at 0730 am, and there we were, docked at the pier at Seattle. A lovely vacation had home to an end. Disembarked and got our luggage (we had to take tags corresponding to the time we'd like to disembark), which was fairly easy. We later checked into the La Quinta Inn and Suits in downtown Seattle for the one night. However, we had a day to kill at Seattle, and we weren't going to throw away this opportunity.....

Thank you for a lovely Part 3!
Those food and nature pics are exquisite.
The glaciers with the patterns look awesome: since you saw them in low visibility conditions, what did it seem like, those sights, and what thoughts went through your mind?
The towel patterns were rather exquisite: how creative!
Question: did the luxury liner load all its supplies at Seattle before the trip, or did they also stock up on the way?
More bald eagles, more bears, and more seaplanes, doing bush flying. Superb!
Lovely sunset picture!
Awesome flowers and fireworks!
And now, we look forward to the visit to the Museum of Flight!
Cheers, Sumantra.

Thanks so much again, Sumantra sir! Very Happy
YEs, that was a question posed to the crew onboard as well - while waste is removed and treated at various ports, food is always loaded in Seattle.
Thanks for your constant encouragement!

Varun - true that! Pity it couldn't fly Sad
