Delhi street food
The Husband (TH) worked in Aviation Network Planning and I trusted him blindly with our travel plans. However 2016 began with TH losing his mind and planning our travel like never before. Check out our travel circuit:
Pune – Coimbatore – Wellington (Tamil Nadu) – Ooty – Coimbatore – Kollam – Ashtamudi – Ernakulam – Delhi – Pune
Can you believe that last leg of journey?? I couldn’t believe it either… But then he made some faces and threw some Frequent Flier miles at me to convince me how we are doing it cheap etc. So here we were, doing the weirdest travel circuit. Now I won’t trust him blindly about our travel plans and Network planning.
But in spite of his off the rocker itinerary, I quite enjoy Delhi in winter and this was our chance to hog the winter special food in Delhi, and so, from the moment we landed in Delhi, our food quest began with a bang. However, this time around we had a strategy about how we would cram in more in limited time as well as stomach capacity. We call it “Gourmet eating”-Little bit of everything.

A-W-E-S-O-M-E, in one word, Mrs. Joshi, awesome! I really wonder how you have been able to cram in so many emotions into so few words, and yet, describe each item and do justice to them as well. The Wife and I often have wondered at the common love to food which binds the Joshi couple: we have simply been awestruck at your culinary adventures (and believe me, we have followed your journeys through AJ's trip reports, and other foodie-related things he shares with us on FB, and otherwise: the length and breadth of Europe, Puducherri...and now, sADI dillI. Thank you very much: The Wife also sends in her complements, since we were lucky to be a part of the Karim's outing, along with the other family (one of whom is a prominent member of this forum  ).
Thank you for re-living many memories. We heard many descriptions from both of you in person, and we cannot forget your facial expressions, either!
