I wonder if anyone has been getting the following error, of late:
502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.5.6
This error manifests itself when I try to access threads within the forum sections.
The weird part is that I get it when logged in from my account. If I access the forum from outside, I do not get this error. Thus, it cannot be an issue with my IP address or service provider itself. I am far from being a tech-savvy person: Nimish/Aseem/Varun/Sameer: any solution here? Or is the website telling me to concentrate more on my work, and less on aviation-related issues?
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Try this - clear all existing cookies from the bizhat domain, and then try accessing the site. (given a screenshot of Chrome, similar procedure for most modern browsers)
You will have to log in again - but after that things should be good.
Remember to click the "Remove all shown" button after filtering down to this domain.
I faced the same issue in the past (multiple times), and eventually found this solution did the trick for me. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

My knowledge of cookies and how they operate, is quite bare-bones, but your tutorial sounds perfectly logical even for a tech-challenged person as me. Thanks once again!

Glad to know the procedure helped! I spent several months switching browser until I tried this at random (not really random, I discovered the same page opened fine in Incognito mode, but did not open in regular mode, implies something to do with the cookies) and found it worked...
And yes - cookies - divine - worked my way through a pack of Parle's new Digestive cookies this weekend - good stuff! _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Hence my comment about this being one of the most informative posts on this part of the forum.
