Interesting. I remember in the old days, most smaller Indian airports had something even more primitive. Luggage was simply dumped in one corner of the arrival area and we had to collect it from there. There used to be guy at the exit matching the baggage tags with the counterfoils. _________________ Save Maharashtra! |

I remember landing in IXM in 1992. The baggage was placed on concrete benches in the arrival section and u just picked up ur bags. |
