That's not a GE90, that's not even a 777 as Mexicana doesn't operate any. What you see is a PW2000 on one of their 757s. Cool

The only engine in which a human can stand into would be that of B777. Least likely would be engines of narrow bodies. Anybody please correct me if I am wrong.

Obviously that's not true as the above photo shows.

The diameter of the PW2000 is around 6.5 feet so it is quite possible to stand in one. Remember, the diameter of the 777 engines are around 10 feet so with the average human probably being around 6 feet or less it is quite possible for one to stand in a smaller engine.

Either way, it is impossible (outside of digital modification) for that to be a 777 engine as Mexicana simply does not operate any of them.

Are you serious? It doesn't take an AME to know this! Besides, as mentioned, Mexicana does not operate 777s and the main gear tells us it is not a 777 so it is even unlikely to be photoshopped or a one time paint job. Go check fan diameters for yourself and you'll see that it is possible to stand up in engines other than those on the 777. Actually, here is further photographic evidence since for some reason you question the original picture:

Mexicana operates A318.A319,A320,B752,B763ER & F100.

That picture looks like a B752 with P&W2040 Powerplants.

There are quite a few powerplants that can accomodate a standing person in the Inlet on static condition.Depending on that persons height.

LOL! It must have been a pain to convince the bunch.
Thanks for posting those links Wink Cool pictures of the different engines. I too thought that the engine was not as big as a 777 engine, cos those are really huge, Ive seen them when I climbed the stairs on a KU a/c and some body was telling that it is as big as the fusalage of 737 (is it true?) I know it is close.

Only the GE90 has a diameter as the size of a B737 fuselage. The Other Engines are the RR 877/77/90,Trent 4074/77/84/90.

In fact theres a pic of the comparism on the BA 777 & 737 aircraft parked face to face.
