Some of the early pictures are grainy (ISO was set to 1600 -- forgot to change), but the others have come out okay. The entire bunch here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/premshree/archives/date-taken/2007/04/06/

Oh, and yeah, I'm new to this group, but have been posting to Flickr for a while. So... Hi Smile

Shot them from a bridge on Wind Tunnel road. The road is horribly dusty, but worth it on a sunny day.

Let me know if you go spotting in Bangalore/Bombay. Will be fun. Smile

I use a Nikon D70s with a 70-300. Need to get a better lens soon.

Nice pics, Premshree. Have been viewing you snaps quite often on Flickr.

Is the bridge you mentioned on the Windtunnel road and is it possible to park there and do some spotting?

Yeah, possible. Just that it's way too dusty.

Hi Premshree - great pics, I was at that bridge last weekend - great views from there. I was there at night without a camera hence did not click any pictures.

LMK when you plan to go there next and I'd love to join (especially if it's this Sunday). I can get along my ATC receiver so we have notice on what's next on the runway.

I'm probably going for a D200 and a 18-200 VR... maybe I'll go for a 80-400, not decided. I'm sick of changing lenses because of the dust.

Isn't cleaning the lens a possibility.
